What A Day!

This was my day today with Cohen:

10 am - he wakes up and nurses and has his breakfast, diaper change etc.

10:30 -11:30 am - he throws cheerios all over the floor
- pulls a end table on himself ( he was not hurt, he did not even cry)
- almost pulls the blinds off the window
- make a GIANT mess with his toys.

11:30- NAP TIME!!!!!

1:30 pm - he wakes up and we go to do a diaper change and SURPRISE his diaper tab unattached itself from the diaper and he went No.2!!!

1:30-2 pm- a giant fight over a bath!!! He has started to hate the bathtub.

2pm- 3pm- he is a HOLY TERROR. throwing temper tantrums. trying to play with the laptop ( which is a no no)

3pm -5:30 pm NAPTIME!!! I was losing my mind by this time.

5:30-6:30- He was better but still being a brat lol

6:30 DADDY'S HOME! Thank you God!

I went off duty after that lol. Adam even cooked dinner for me. He was rewarded later :D
That was my exhausting day. I should actually be in bed but I am enjoying the quiet!!!!

I am tired. I am tired of giving all without being filled back up. I am empty, my needs have all been placed on the back burner. I have got to start taking care of myself properly. It is okay to put your needs first. Let My Life Be The Proof

I struggle daily, with this at a follower of Christ. Am I speaking words that speak the love of Jesus? Am acting how Jesus would act when I am faced with trials and temptation?  Am I showing love to my fellow humans, even if we do not agree on certain topics? Am I being to a light those who need it most? Are my words being followed by actions of love? If I do not love, I have nothing. Jesus told us that the greatest of these is love. So Excited!

I went to Wal-Mart last week and they have their Christmas stuff out!! We bought 3 tree ornaments. I have already bought gifts for my brother, brother in law, father in law, sister in law, my mom, nephew, and the 3 kids my kids play with all the time. I am so proud of myself so starting my shopping so early! I am desperately trying to be finished before the rush starts. It was so fun to watch Cohen get excited about the display trees and their lights. His eyes were full of wonder and excitement. I cannot wait for the holidays to begin!
