Blessing Of 2010

Wow, another year has come and gone.   Another year of memories and good times spent with family and friends.   Another year of sad times and broken hearts. Another year of life. 2010 has been year of ups, downs, and abundant blessings.   We had a few hard times but we made it through with our needs met. We still have heat, lights, food, clothes and roof over our heads.   We have been blessed with new friends and share good times with old friends. We are so blessed to be surrounded by family who love and are willing to help when we needed it. God has never let us go without the necessities. He has always provided for our needs. He has shown his love for us in so many ways. He blessed us with healthy and beautiful children, our home, Adam’s job, our family, friends and wonderful church family. I thank Him for His blessings. 2011 is going to be a year of changes. I am excited to move onto another year in my life! Here is to a year of memories and many blessings in your lives and our

I have decided that the kids are now big and old enough to clean up their own rooms, unassisted.   Now I know that they will not be prefect in anyway but they need to learn to look after their own space and things.  I am making them do this as I type.   It is going to be a long next few hours. I refuse to help. I am tired of cleaning up the rooms, only to have them destroyed in the matter of minutes.   My hope is that they will see how hard it is to clean up, they will start to think before making a giant mess.  I realise that they are only 3 and 2 but they need to learn now before it is too late.   I want them to grow up to be self sufficient adults and that training starts when they are young.   * Update *   They cleaned the rooms on their own. I did have to instruct the 2 yr old as to what to pick up and where to put it. I am proud to say that they did it themselves and that I did not pick up a toy! Go Kids and Go Mama!

Belated Christmas Wishes

I pray that you all had a safe and a very Merry Christmas! My family and I had a wonderful one, we are so blessed to have so many people who love and care about us. We had so much fun being with our families, making memories and sharing laughter. Now I have to get started on the resolutions for the New Year! I need to make a plan to stick to them too. It is easier to make them, than it is to keep them! Have you thought about yours yet?

I have so much to say but no words can convey my feelings. I pray that God's love, comfort and peace surround everyone in these next few days and weeks.
