Let My Life Be The Proof
I struggle daily, with this at a follower of Christ. Am I speaking words that speak the love of Jesus? Am acting how Jesus would act when I am faced with trials and temptation? Am I showing love to my fellow humans, even if we do not agree on certain topics? Am I being to a light those who need it most? Are my words being followed by actions of love?
If I do not love, I have nothing. Jesus told us that the greatest of these is love. He wants us to love as He loves us. He calls us to love.

If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing. I think that this is something that every true follower of Christ struggles with. We want to be Christ like and loving but do not want to allow the whole of the Bible to be distorted to suit man's feelings. We tend to allow our hearts to become harden to anything that or anyone who, may be contradictory to the Bible. We need to learn to love people as Jesus loves them, with their sins and no matter their appearances, attitudes, and speech. Jesus still loves them and we need to do the same. If we could learn to loves as He loves, we could change the world. We need to leave the life changes that they may need to Jesus to fix. We cannot fix man, only God can change hearts and minds. Only he can show you the steps to take to change your life.

Father,
I pray that you would change my heart and soften it to those who need you the most. Give me a heart of love and allow my life to shine your love into the lives of others. Equip my marriage to be a light and an example to other marriages. Allow my family to be a light in our community. Help us to show each other love in that difficult moments. We can do all things through You, who gives us strength.
