One Step At A Time...

I struggle daily, with this at a follower of Christ. Am I speaking words that speak the love of Jesus? Am acting how Jesus would act when I am faced with trials and temptation?  Am I showing love to my fellow humans, even if we do not agree on certain topics? Am I being to a light those who need it most? Are my words being followed by actions of love? If I do not love, I have nothing. Jesus told us that the greatest of these is love. He wants us to love as He loves us. He calls us to love.     ''If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. You are facing some very rough storms in your life and your relationship with Jesus. You are wondering if life is going to be this hard while you are in Christ, why bother? God has put this issue into your life so you find and deepen your faith in him. He wants us to praise him even when we are tired, feel abandoned and alone. He wants you to find HIM in the midst of our storms. If we never experienced hard times, we would never learn to be thankful for the good times.  God gives us the hard issues so when we get through them, he gets the praise!  Psalm 107:28-31 Yet when they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,  the Lord brought them out of their distress.  He calmed the storm  and its waves quieted down.  So they rejoiced that the waves became quiet,  and he led them to their desired haven.  Let them give thanks to the Lord for his gracious love  and for his awesome deeds on behalf of mankind.
