Walking in Faith

Image
Phillipians 4:19  And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. As most of you know my hubby was laid off the 1st of March. We are still awaiting an cheque from EI. The money we had saved is quickly dwindling from bill payments. All this waiting is exercising my faith. I know that God will not fail me. He never has. We have had a rough few years since we have gotten married 5 years ago. We have always had shelter, food, a reliable car, and the necessities for our children. I know God will make a way even though we cannot see how. We are trusting in Him to bring us through.

Mojo

Image
I love when my creative side comes out. I have been doing digital scrapbooking for about 3.5 or so, I love it. It is so much cleaner than paper scrapping. Lately though I have been in a scrapping slump. My scrapping mojo was drained and gone. Well monday, it came back in full force! I scrapped 8 layouts! I got our day vacations done, christmas and a layout that had been unfinished since last March!! I am thinking about making a flickr account so I can show them off. I will warn you though, it is mostly my kids pictures, they are so cute!

Proud

Image
I am proud of myself! I am working hard to lose inches all over and I feel like I finally look like I am doing it! I have be trying to workout 5 days a week, I go to aerobics twice a week. I have started jogging on the treadmill!! I have not jogged since middle school. I finally see that it is all going to happen this time!

Making it ours

Tomorrow we are painting the kids bedrooms. One thing about all this painting is that my arms and legs are getting a major workout! "C" has chosen Amazing Red for his room which I am very nervous about but I let him choose. "L" chose Lilac for her room or purrpole as she calls it. I will be so happy when everything is done! We have the hallway, kitchen and playroom downstairs left to do. It is amazing how paint can make your 30+ yr old house feel new again! Our house is finally starting to feel like our home. We are leaving our mark to make it our home. Home is where the heart is :o).

Blog redone

I am bored while Adam finishes prepping my bathroom for paint so I redid my blog. :o)

Painting has commenced!

I convinced Hubby Dearest to buy all the paint we needed to paint the main part of the house. We bought the house almost 2 yrs ago and only painted the living room, dining room and bathroom. The bathroom is being repainted because stupid me thought orange would be a great bathroom color. Now I look like a Ommpa Lompa every time I use the mirror so it must be repainted. Home Depot made a killing off of us when we bought 5 cans of paint, 2 can of tinted primer, rollers, disposable paint tray liners and an edging roller. We have one room painted already except trim which will wait until the snow is gone. We painted our bedroom dark grey and I love it! I will post pics once the room is back in livable condition.

Got to love a good deal!

Image
I meant to share my awesome deal from Wal*Mart a couple of weeks ago. I have huge Toy Story 3 fans in my house so I was very excited when I found these for 5$ each. They are 3 different TS3 action link stunt sets. They retail for around 15-20$ a set normally so I loved my deal I got on them. Buying these made me the best Mama in the world in the eyes of my 4 and 2 yr olds.

What a week we had last week!

That is basically all I can say! Taxes done, painting at my church, running the roads, my bro being admitted to the hospital, birthday party etc. I am wore out and exhuasted. I am actually excited about the freezing rain we are having so I can stay home and do nothing. We all just need a do nothing day.
